Have you noticed REV’s newest student? Her name is Q. She walks around the school, greeting students and demanding scratches. It’s impossible to ignore her! We love having a dog at the school.
Actually, there is another reason to have her here – we are studying her behaviour in preparation for our newest adventure. On April 1, 2020, REV will open REV Puppy – Real Dogs, Real Barking! That’s right – we are going to teach people and dogs! You can sign your dog up for obedience classes while you are learning English.
Doesn’t that sound wonderful? Just imagine learning English while a group of happy puppies is playing in the classroom next door! Imagine taking a break while a golden retriever or poodle tries to steal your snack. It’s going to be great.
Are you surprised? Does this all sound a little crazy?
. . . APRIL FOOL’S! . . .
Did you notice the date on this post? It’s an April Fool’s Day joke! April 1 is also known as April Fool’s Day. This is a day where people play practical jokes (tricks) on each other. A practical joke is a trick that is funny but harmless (doesn’t hurt anybody). So don’t believe anything you hear or read on April 1!
If you are planning on playing a trick, remember to keep it light and fun. Don’t hurt anybody’s feelings (or body). Most importantly, at the end of the joke, you must say “April Fool’s!” to let the other person know that it is just a joke. And if someone plays a trick on you… don’t take it too seriously. Relax, laugh, and have fun!
